Thank you so much for being so patient and positive through everything that has been going on with the COVID-19 situation. It has been an unusual situation to say the least. WE want to provide you with as many options as we can to help generate opportunities for dancers to keep progressing! Our goal is to help students and studios thriving again!
As many of you know Dance America has been around for 40+yrs helping to provide local and regional studios the best affordable, professional, fun, rewarding experiences possible! We really want to continue to be around for many more years to come. This COVID-19 situation was unforeseen and has affected everyone in ways that have been completely unexpected. We appreciate your patience as we have spent many hours and sleepless nights trying to find solutions that will work for us all.
We’ve decided to move ALL our competitions into the month of July to allow for more improvements in our health safety guidelines and to allow dancers time to get back into the studio to review, rehearse, and build up their stamina again before heading into competition!!
Here are the UPDATED Dance America’s upcoming competition dates
1 – July 10-11th Dixie High School Stage competition (St. George)
2- July 17-18th Juan Diego High School Stage competition (Draper)
3- July 24-25th Snow Canyon High School Gymnasium competition (St. George)
We need to know which event you plan on attending so we can plan accordingly. I know things may change, please let us know which competition date you are interested in and works best for you.
We will have guidelines and protocols in place for each of our events based on the State requirements and recommendations. Depending how many of you are interested in competing at each of our events will help us determine how best to execute these protocols.
NOTE – If the State sets new guidelines or if closures start up again that prevent us from holding our competitions OR if you do not plan to compete, then we are more than happy to give you the following THREE options to choose from. We know that every situation is a little different, so we are trying to let you decide what works best for you and your studio.
50% refund, 50% credit toward any of our DA events including Summer Slam Camps, Rap It Up Hip Hop workshop, or 2021 DA Competitions. ALL credits expire by December 31, 2021.
100% credit toward any Dance America event including Summer Slam Camps, Rap It Up Hip Hop workshop, or 2021 season DA Competitions. All credits expire by December 31, 2021.

We hope that these Options/Solutions will not only help all studios and dancers, but also help us to continue to provide as many wonderful experiences and opportunities as we can moving forward.
In order to get one of the three options listed above YOU MUST REPLY NO LATER THAN MAY 15th, 2020. Please respond to Robyn by emailing email@example.com.
If you tell us that you are planning to come to one of our July competitions and then your situation changes after May 15th, we are ONLY able to offer 80% credit toward next season. We MUST know your intentions by May 15th so we can plan accordingly.
